Question 1

Is the TrueClose app really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The full interactive calculator is free and accessible without mandatory registration. TrueClose operates in 100% guest mode with no phone capture or forced sign-up.

Question 2

Why no phone capture or forced sign-up?

Accepted Answer

Because TrueClose is an independent analytical tool, not a lead-broker funnel. Your data stays private and is never sold to mortgage brokers or lenders.

Question 3

Why pay $7 CAD if the calculator is free?

Accepted Answer

The free app gives key numbers. The BluePrint ($7 CAD) provides full printable documentation, a province-by-province breakdown, a lender-negotiation script, and a notary-day checklist. For that price you choose which report(s) to download: New Homebuyer, Refinancing, Renewal, or any combination.

Question 4

How is my email used if I buy?

Accepted Answer

Only to deliver your PDF and send your payment receipt. Zero spam. Zero data resale.

Question 5

How does Canadian fixed-rate math differ from US calculators?

Accepted Answer

Canadian fixed-rate mortgage projections typically use semi-annual compounding, unlike common US monthly compounding assumptions. TrueClose applies the correct Canadian standard.

Question 6

Do you store my mortgage scenario?

Accepted Answer

We do not keep your scenario in any database of our own. The numbers you enter are sent once, over an encrypted connection, only to generate and email your PDF. For that purpose they are attached to your payment record at Stripe, our payment processor.
